A Little History
A Passion for Healing...
Touch has always been an important method of healing for me. You can convey a lot through touch where words may fail. I learned early on that there are certain methodologies which affect specific nerves and muscles and lend a substantial amount of power to the healing process.
Heavy Hands...
After graduating from National Holistic Institute, it was clear to me that the path I was meant to follow was not that of your typical “assembly-line” spa environment. I craved more – a safe space for clients where you are not only welcome, but encouraged to share and to let go. I sought to use my background as a Peer Support Specialist to create a place where my clients can destress both body and mind; a place where stay-at-home parents, tattooed artists, high-powered executives, and road-weary musicians alike can feel comfortable; a place where no matter the heaviness in your heart, you can be free for just a little while and allow my hands to lift us both.
And from this dream, Heavy Hands was born.
